Mother's Day

For some of us, this is the first year without our Mothers; the first in 63 years I won’t be putting my name on a Mother’s Day card. For others, you said “Good-bye” a long time ago, while others still enjoy their Mothers. God bless you!
I can’t possibly express the impact the love of our Mothers has had on our lives! If you’re a confident person, fairly well-adjusted in your relationships and in your life – it’s probably because you were loved by an Award-Winning Mom!

And despite the daily dose of bad news throughout the world, images of crime and drugs and more, the truth is that God has filled the world with awesome Mothers. You had one, didn’
t you!
It was from our Mothers that we understood the power of forgiveness.

It was from our Mothers that we were blessed by grace! It was from our Mothers that we were lifted up by love! It was from our Mothers that we learned to value what God claimed as valuable! It was from our Mothers that we gained so, so much more!

Goofy Moms, studious Moms, neat-freak Moms, teaching Moms, patient Moms, relaxing Moms, moody Moms – any other adjective you can find, and our Moms were these powerful, complex, delicate, strong, simple creatures brought into our world to bless and keep us. Praise the Lord! I’ve been so blessed to be shaped by my Mother, a lady whose own mother died from TB when she was oh so young. But she found her way into motherhood and managed four of us little hellions, surviving our teen years to enjoy the rest of life as we enjoyed her soooo much!

I was blessed by a great Mother, a great Mother-in-law, and a great wife who is the Mother of our children! Say a prayer and thank God for your Moms!
